Here's the scoop...

Upside Down:

Six Cyclemind

6 Cycle Mind (or Six Cycle Mind) is a Filipino music band composed of Ney Dimaculangan on lead vocals, Rye Sarmiento on rhythm guitars and backup vocals, Chuck Isidro on lead guitars, Bob Caamo on bass and Tutti Caringal on drums. 6 Cycle Minds music is a fusion of alternative music and pop music with a number of OPM songs. They have successfully released three albums under Sony BMG Records Philippines, Permission to Shine (2003), Panorama (2005), Home (2007). 6cyclemind comes from the 5 members plus their manager, Darwin Hernandez as the 6th person.

Collectively, they all contribute to the composing, arranging and brainstorming, which is a continuous cycle in their creation of music, hence 6cyclemind. Carlos "Chuck" Isidro was the former lead guitarist for Afterimage. When Afterimage disbanded, Chuck, worked in recording company. During his stay, he signed up a group managed by Darwin Hernandez. Both of them talked and chose to form a band by adding members, which became 6cyclemind.

Magbalik:

Callalily

From the record label that produced the country's top great bands like Cueshé, 6cyclemind, and Brownman Revival, Sony BMG Music Entertainment introduces another discovery that will set another trend in the music scene in the band Callalily armed with their debut album Destination XYZ. Their first single Stars was a fast-gaining heavy airplay on top radio stations and its music video was seen on favorite music channels. Stars was a successful single, peaking #1 for 3 weeks on MYX, and it was also nominated as Favorite Song at the MYX Music Awards 2007.

Their 2nd single Take My Hand peaked only at #3 on MYX but their 3rd single Magbalik scored them another #1. As of April 22, Magbalik spent 7 consecutive weeks at #1, being the successor of Stars. The music video of the song, Pasan premiered at MYX on 1 June 2007 and quickly debuted in the MYX Daily Top 10 on 4 June 4 2007 at #9. The song Pasan on the MYX Hit Chart recently peaked #1 for 6 non-consecutive weeks.

Callalily also belong to a group of talented bands of Soupstar Entertainment who fed us with their purely cool songs. Also in the group are Imago, Juana, 6cyclemind, Rocksteddy, Kala, Protein Shake, Manomano, Sandwich, Frio, Mayonnaise etc. And as of now, they are already arranging their second album. But the band did not give any specific details about it.

South Border

South Border is a Filipino Pop and R&B band formed in the 90s who gained recognition in the music scene in the 2000s.

Having undergone several permutations in its long career, South Border has nevertheless retained its unique sound and musical sensibility and has even moved up along the current global trends in music. Hence, retaining the top spot in their particular musical genre. Much credit goes to musical director and lead creative genius Jay Durias, the staunchest

unifying force that has kept the band and its music alive and thriving.

The band, whose name is a tribute to their roots in Cebu down south, first came into national prominence in 1996 when they launched their first self-titled album. It included a Jimmy Antiporda song entitled “May Pag-Ibig Pa Kaya’ which they interpreted in the Metro Manila Pop Music Festival earlier that year. Another song, “Kahit Kailan” was awarded 1996 Song of the Year by various radio stations, thus giving them their first big hit.
